I Want to Adopt or Foster a Turtle From TRL!

We are only able to adopt or foster out turtles to qualified adult residents of New England and New York. We do not have the resources to respond to applications from outside of this area.

Please be aware that we are primarily a native turtle rehabilitation clinic, and treating injured or sick wild turtles is our first responsibility.

We are unable to review applications between April and October. We look forward to adoption season, please be patient as we catch up.

We adopt and foster out non-native turtles only. For example, we cannot adopt or foster out Eastern Box, Eastern Painted turtles, etc.
