We want to educate as many people as possible, so we keep costs low.
Turtle Care
We offer individual instruction on turtle care. If you have a pet turtle and would like to know how to better care for it, we can arrange a visit to your home or a simple phone call. We can help you set up a habitat, provide assistance on light placement, and possible ways to save yourself some money with alternative setups.
Earth Day and Other Events
We usually set up a booth at several Earth Day events so you can stop by and talk all things turtle. Learn about our local turtles, and even turtles around the world. Ask us when our next event is and come on by. We give away lots of great information and you can meet the founders of Turtle Rescue League.
Classroom Education
We offer programs for schools and classrooms. We can visit your school or classroom and educate students about the turtles that share the world and the neighborhoods they live in. We teach respect for the environment, that turtles need space to live, and how easy it is to help.
Group Events
We offer programs for any group, such as lake associations, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, or anyone who wants to know more about the turtles in their area. Ask us, and we can schedule some Turtle Time with you.
Sanctuary Visits
We are currently unable to have large groups in the Sanctuary, but we do occasionally allow educational visits. Please ask, and we can try to arrange something for you.
