Become a Turtle Runner!

Volunteer With Turtle Rescue League as a Turtle Runner!

Turtle transport is one of Turtle Rescue League’s greatest needs, and it is a wonderful way to help vulnerable animals when they need it most.

Every year, we receive HUNDREDS of calls for turtles who have been hit by a car, attacked by a predator, found sick, or even who are non-natives abandoned by their owners. We need help to get them to our clinic in Southbridge, MA, or to trusted partner rehabs throughout the state.

If you’re interested in volunteering as a Turtle Runner, read on to learn about our requirements, then fill out the form below!

If you were looking to volunteer at Turtle Rescue League, not to transport injured turtles, go here!

If you’re looking to show your support and receive email updates, please fill out our Membership form instead.

What You’ll Need

  • A valid driver’s license
  • Access to a vehicle with car insurance
  • Mobile phone – you consent to receiving text messages from Turtle Rescue League to receive notifications of injured turtles
  • Be able to transport to our facility in Southbridge, MA and/or be able to drive 50 miles

At this time, we are only looking for transport within Massachusetts. If you are in a neighboring state, you can still volunteer if you are willing to drive throughout Massachusetts.
