Ryan Askew Web Design & Development

  • Ryan created and supports TRL’s website. Along with being informative, beautiful and fun, our site provides the critical functionality linking injured turtles to treatment. His work has already helped to save hundreds of turtles. He has always been amazing to work with and goes above and beyond for the League. Learn about Ryan’s services and contact him at ryanaskew.com. We highly recommend him. Thank you Ryan!

Katherine Bartig

  • Katherine volunteered her tremendous artistic abilities to create a beautiful image to honor our Forever Basking Society, a group of supporters who have included Turtle Rescue League in their estate planning. She took our nebulous ideas and turned them into something as beautiful as such a cause deserves. Treat your eyes to more of her artwork or contact Katherine at katherinebartig.com. Thank you Katherine!
An adult painted turtle is basking in the sun on a log with its hind legs extended out behind it. Another, smaller painted turtle basks in the same position while resting on the shell of the larger turtle. A lily pad floats in the pond water below. This is the image associated with the Forever Basking Society, a group of supporters who have committed to planned giving for Turtle Rescue League.

Brendan Corris

  • Brendan volunteered his deep artistic and digital skills to work with Kenny Sajo to design and produce our logo. It highlights the beauty and resilience of a turtle species often believed to be ugly and aggressive. Everyone at TRL loves it, and we get compliments on it wherever we display it! Thank you Brendan!

LightStream Associates

  • Liz and Bob at LightStream Associates produced the touching film we proudly display on the home page of our website. We will never be able to thank them enough for the time and effort it took to create it. Learn more about what they do and check out more of their award-winning work at lightstreamassociates.com. Thank you Liz and Bob!

Sy Montgomery

  • Sy volunteered at Turtle Rescue League for several years in the process of writing her best-selling book, Of Time and Turtles: Mending the World, Shell by Shattered Shell, beautifully illustrated by Matt Patterson, another friend of TRL! She has written more than 30 books, including another collaboration with Matt, The Book of Turtles. Sy is a dear friend, and a core member and supporter. Sy has done so much for so many animals (and people!) it would be impossible to list it all here. Please learn more about Sy and her work at symontgomery.com. You can watch Sy speak about her motivation and experiences writing Of Time and Turtles here! Thank you Sy!

Matt Patterson

  • Matt’s art can be so realistic your eyes simply won’t let you believe you aren’t standing right next to the subject. Matt has been saving, studying, drawing and painting turtles his entire life. Working with Sy Montgomery to illustrate Of Time and Turtles: Mending the World, Shell by Shattered Shell, and the stunning Book of Turtles, he became a huge part of the TRL family. We can’t thank him enough for all of his support. Do not deny yourself the experience of seeing Matt’s art. Start at his website, mpattersonart.com, and then go find it in person, you’ll be glad you did! Thank you Matt!
